The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.Salary Range$50,200.00 - $82,800.00Target Openings2What Is the Opportunity?Under supervision performance intermediate to advanced level of billing, remittance application and customer service functions.What Will You Do?

Accurately analyze, research, and process all payments and other research requests within established timeframes on moderate to high complex work.

Daily balancing and reconciliation of payments.

Corresponds with customers, agents, Business Centers, financial institutions and vendors via written and/or phone.

Contributes to production performance and quality practices to achieve positive results.

Identify, define and implement production performance and quality standards for continuous improvements.

Research, resolve, and reconcile discrepancies with Business Centers, customers, and financial institutions.

Reconciles transactions with the billing system, performs billing-related research, and coordinates settlements. Examples include researching and applying/handling payments or refunds, resolving problems related to financial transactions, and resolving billing or banking discrepancies.

Resolves inquiries from internal customers, agents, business unit owners, financial institutions and/or vendors and respond to these customers promptly and courteously.

May complete ad-hoc requests

Identify current or future problems or opportunities.

Analyze, synthesize and compare information to understand issues, identify cause/effect relationships and explore alternative solutions to support sound decision making.

Maintain electronic documents in IBM Content Navigator to ensure archival tidiness.

Recommend alternative work flows to create efficiencies.

Retrieve premium installment requests, reconcile to sold documentation, receive approval & generate installment invoices.

Format and print / email outgoing correspondence.

Manage incoming correspondence.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Two or more years of experience in a Billing or collections environment preferred.

Intermediate verbal, written, and listening communication skills.

Large volume transaction experience preferred

Intermediate accounting and customer service skills.

Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize daily assignments.

Strong attention to detail.

General computer skills and ability to learn new applications in a department

Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint).

Comfortable with newer and emerging technology and tools.

What is a Must Have?

High school diploma or equivalent required.

One year of accounting, bookkeeping, banking, finance or billing experience required.
