OverviewThe primary function of the Building Products Testing Technician is to build concrete placement forms and all associated tasks for casting concrete under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor.Responsibilities Assemble and maintain standardized concrete form work for testing concrete anchors. Construct custom sized form work as needed with general lumber materials. Organize forms and equipment to prepare for and clean up after concrete pours. Use power tools and hand tools associated with building and fixing wood or aluminum form work. General tool maintenance and tracking materials inventory. Maintain established productions rates for setting up for concrete casting and anchor testing. Work independently when given instructions. Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working environment.Skills / Qualifications 1-2 years of carpentry or concrete experience preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Ability to operate a motor vehicle within Element company policies. A valid driver's license is required. Ability to obtain a non-CDL DOT medical card is required. Good mathematical knowledge required. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand/power tools. Frequency of required physical force: Often Lifting requirements: lifting <50lbs often and >50lbs lbs periodically. Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.
