Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified V-Mill Operators to work ON-SITE with our customer in Sauk Rapids, MN
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned.
Perform complex set up and operate mill, lathe and/or router to machine flat and formed parts to inch and metric specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Measure and verify dimensions using inspections tooling
Perform deburring of parts
Maintain logs and other necessary documents
Complete routing and process planning as necessary
Design or assist in the design of tooling and fixtures
Set up CNC Machine loading programs, tools, fixtures and setting tool offsets
Act as a technical resource
Perform 1st Article of Inspection
May oversee the work of others
Work independently with minimal supervision
Here's what you'll get:
Duration: 12 months
Shift: 2nd shift Mon-Thu 3pm to 1am (+10% shift differential)
Pay Rate: $27-$32 an hour
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of Haas VF-3 machine tools
5-axis knowledge
Emphasis on new part introduction and on-offs
Strong troubleshooting and technical knowledge
Strong readthrough skills on CNC programs
Ability to manufacture parts from print
Detail oriented
Parts can have more than 150 dimensions
316 steel and C-22 materials
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
4-5 years of manufacturing or related work experience
AA degree or equivalent experience.
Vocational or technical training
