As a Country Coordinator, you will guide and support families adopting through a variety of country programs, communicate with our partners overseas, and help ensure state, federal and international standards are met throughout all stages of the adoption process. This position is benefits eligible. Major responsibilities for a Country Coordinator may include: Support and guide families with country-specific documentation, education and travel preparation; Prepare and present child referrals to families; Direct families through the immigration petition process; Serve as liaison between international contacts, agency and U.S. immigration officials; Oversee receipt and routing of post-placement reports; Manage client records to meet state/federal/international/licensing requirements. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Global Studies, International Relations, Social Work, or related field; 1-3 years relevant international experience (study, travel, work or language skills) preferred; Must have strong organizational skills including ability to case manage and keep documentation up to date; Ability to communicate well using verbal and written methods; Ability to utilize independent judgment and discretion to resolve complex matters; Valid drivers' license preferred, including insurance, a reliable vehicle and insurability under agency policy; Ability to work with and advocate for all clients served, regardless of race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or family type.
