Description Our client, an engineering company, is in search of a highly motivated HR Coordinator to join their team. This position is ideal for an individual looking to grow their human resources skill set in a dynamic and diverse environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, and is in the Plymouth, MN area. Job duties and responsibilities:
Orientation and On-boarding: guide new employees through the on-boarding process, ensuring all systems and processes are set up correctly.
Benefits Administration: Assist employees with insurance enrollment after 60 days of employment and manage the 401k enrollment process 6 months post-hire.
Time Sheet Management: Oversee timesheet reporting, ensuring reports are accurate and addressing discrepancies.
Front Desk Operations: Serve as a back-up for front desk duties as needed.
Year-End Reporting: Participate in end-of-year meetings to stay apprised of changes and updates.
Adaptable to take on various roles and tasks.
Requirements
1-3 years of HR experience
Excellent multi-tasking ability
Understanding and practice of strict confidentiality
Keen attention to detail
Approachable and patient demeanor
Self-motivated and proactive problem-solver
