Accounting Specialist

Description We are looking for a diligent Accounting Specialist to join our team in Plymouth, Minnesota, United States. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and play a central role in the financial operations of our organization. You will be responsible for preparing checks, reconciling projects, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring accurate financial reports. Responsibilities Prepare and manage respondent checks and project reconciliations Issue invoices to customers within the scope of signed statement of works Manage accounts receivable and perform collection efforts when necessary Co-manage the accounting shared mailbox, addressing questions or routing them to appropriate staff Co-manage the bidding shared inbox and update sales force with project bids and project change controls Prepare weekly and monthly financial/operational reports such as AR aging report and client YTD revenue Utilize accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, Concur, Great Plains (GPAC), and Microsoft Excel Handle billing functions and check processing effectively Perform other ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a plus Familiarity with Concur software Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) accounting software Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Able to handle Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Capable of handling Billing Functions Experience in Check Processing is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
