You will perform credibility, forecasting, and other ad hoc studies to continually assess our Part D pricing. In this role, you will get to improve processes, coordinate rate filings, play a key role in pricing by completing requests and maintaining integrity.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Assist in the pricing of our Group Medicare Part D Product

Perform credibility and forecasting studies

Perform other ad hoc studies to continuously assess our pricing process and methodology, including partnering with other business segments to make the best decisions and share information across the department

Complete rate filings for states we file business in

Assist in evaluating the ever-changing landscape of Part D regulation and legislation

Function as a liaison between the underwriting team and Part D modeling team

1.5+ years of actuarial experience

Three or more actuarial exams passed to date

Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with Excel

Preferred Qualifications:Exposure to Medicare Advantage pricing

Experience working with large datasets

Experience in an actuarial leadership development program

Knowledge of SAS, SQL, and/or VBA

Ability to handle changing priorities and deadlines

Ability to communicate effectively, including written and verbal forms of communication

The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
