TRAILER SHOP MANAGER

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift
Rate: Starting at $90,000 (negotiable based on experience)

The Job
In this role, you'll ensure our trailer shop runs smoothly, provide expert guidance, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety.
Direct and train service technicians, enhancing their skills.
Oversee service and preventative maintenance activities.
Ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety policies.
Handle mechanic supervision, customer contact, and maintenance scheduling.
Compile and prepare comprehensive service reports.
Prioritize incoming repair work to optimize technician productivity.
Control repair job costs to maximize efficiency.
Learn and use company and product procedures and systems.
Maintain open lines of communication to discuss job progress.
Ensure all technicians meet safety standards and provide ongoing coaching.
Serve as a company representative, displaying courtesy and professionalism.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years in trailer maintenance, with 2 years in a supervisory role (preferred 5+ years in both)
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Advanced knowledge of trailer maintenance best practices
Ability to mentor and coach service technicians
Capability to lift up to 75 lbs and navigate around equipment
