The Opportunity

TRAILER SHOP FLOOR SUPERVISOR

Location: Roseville, MN

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift

Rate: starting at $39.00 per hour

The Job

Assign work to mechanics based on their skills, experience, and workload.

Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

Train and mentor mechanics, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

Monitor and manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring that the workshop is adequately stocked and well-organized.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and expenses.

Develop and enforce safety procedures and practices to maintain a safe working environment.

Diagnose complex mechanical problems and provide guidance to mechanics on repair procedures.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, techniques, and best practices.

Conduct performance evaluations for mechanics and provide feedback and guidance for improvement.

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.

Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to optimize overall operations and achieve company goals.

Requirements

3+ years in semi-truck maintenance, with 1+ year in a leadership role. More extensive experience preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent; Heavy Duty Truck Technician certification. AAS degree and CDL Class A preferred.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Advanced knowledge of diesel maintenance and diagnostics.

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and navigate around equipment.
