Checkpoint Welding and Fabrication, a family-owned general job-shop is looking to add an office assistant to our team.

First Shift Monday-Friday 7:30 am until 4:00 pm
An Office Assistant is responsible for maintaining front office operations including processing jobs, answering phones and directing customers, some accounting functions and keeping the office supplied and organized. This involves lots of small duties and special projects as needed and their overall responsibilities are essential.
Office Assistants are responsible for things like:
Overseeing clerical tasks, such as sorting and sending mail
Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed
Maintaining customer files
Welcoming visitors to your office
Answering phone calls
Taking and delivering messages
Ensuring the office runs smoothly
Processing payments and entering accounts receivables
Experience in QuickBooks + accounting, human resources or the metal industry a plus!
