Our company has been providing bookkeeping and administrative services to multiple small businesses, local government units, and property management since 1974. This position will provide back office services, mainly bookkeeping, directly to clients as well as work on team projects with other employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Transaction entry
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Various spreadsheet and research projects as needed
Researching and rectifying account discrepancies
Verbal and written communication to and on behalf of clients as needed
Scanning, printing, and preparing PDF documents
Maintaining physical and electronic file organization
Track billable time per client for invoicing
Required Skills:
Basic accounting concepts (education in accounting preferred)
Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Experience
QuickBooks Experience (2 years)
Detail Orientated
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize projects
Self-starter able to work independently and with a team
Must possess a good work ethic.
General office hours 8am-5pm M-F, some flexibility available
