Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled manager and Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food handling and safety standards are met. Your expertise in meal preparation and food safety will contribute to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Manage the kitchen team and inventory
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs when required.
Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively within a team environment.
Skills
Proficiency in kitchen operations, with experience in fine dining preferred.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
