Sr. Accountant

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Professional Services industry, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger support, among other tasks. It is a short term contract employment opportunity which requires a high level of business acumen and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Responsibilities: Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance Conduct balance sheet reconciliation regularly to maintain financial transparency Execute bank reconciliations to ensure all financial records are in sync Support the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring it accurately reflects the company's financial transactions Prepare journal entries and assist in the month-end close process Handle payroll for under 100 employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting Apply your business acumen to improve accounting processes and procedures.
