Teacher responsibilities include:
Working in a collaborative setting with other teachers to provide a warm and caring learning environment for children.
Meeting the individual needs of each child throughout the day.
Implement a curriculum that is guided by Jewish values and holidays. Candidates for the position do not need to be Jewish but they do need to be comfortable learning and teaching about Judaism in an age appropriate way.
Open communication with parents
Required experience:
All employees must meet the minimum Rule 3 licensing requirements for their positions and all requirements set for in their job descriptions.
In addition all staff must have:
A passion for working with young children and their families.
Ability to relate to a highly diverse environment and to be a team player.
Work independently and accept direction.
Flexible, good judgment, discretion, confidentiality, calm and positive attitude.
Anticipate and prevent problems.
Have the ability to engage and participate in all classrooms activities (lifting up to 35 lbs, pushing up to 100 lbs., bending/kneeling/sitting at child level on the floor, diapering, assisting with nap time, etc.)
