Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are in the Infrastructure industry, located hybrid in Maple Grove, Minnesota, and are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role offers a long term part-time contract employment opportunity. You will be a vital part of our accounting team, with a focus on managing vendor accounts, processing applications, and resolving inquiries.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain precise records of customer credit Resolve vendor and employee inquiries promptly Review and analyze data for invoice accuracy Ensure proper accrual of sales and use tax for complex taxing locations Electronically route invoices for approval to appropriate parties Scan invoices not received electronically into the automation system Review vendor statements regularly Take appropriate action on customer accounts as needed.Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary for this role Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required Experience with Concur is a must Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential Ability to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently Skills in Accounts Payable (AP) are needed Understanding of Accrual Accounting is important Experience in Auditing is required Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) is necessary Ability to Code Invoices efficiently is crucialRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
