Job Description: Data Engineer

Contract to Hire

1. Expertise in Data Engineering and Data Analysis in a healthcare setting2. Strong Teradata experience3. SQL experience - Ability to write and read complex SQL queries4. Experience with Data stage ETL tool5. Python ExperienceStrong written and verbal communication is also mandatory.9. What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background specific industry experience etc.)? healthcare experience is preferred.10. What skills/attributes are required (please be detailed as to number of years of experience for each skill)?Required Qualifications:• 5+ years of Data Analysis experience• 5+ years of relational database experience• 5+ years of complex SQL script writing experience• 5+ years of experience testing• 3+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodology and Agile tools (e.g., Rally or Jira)• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. What skills/attributes are preferred (what will set a candidate apart)?Preferred Qualifications:• 5+ years of Healthcare Data Analysis experience• 3+ years of SQL or Teradata experience• 3+ years of UNIX /Perl/Python scripting experiences• 3+ years of experience with ETL tool• 3+ years working on large data warehouse/big data projects• Healthcare Industry experience• Experience in an onshore/offshore model environment• Experience with Data stage ETL tool• Experience with Enterprise scheduling tools like Airflow, TWS• CA Agile Rally• Operations/production support• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Knowledge of open source tools and technologies like KAFKA , Github will be a plus.Of the required skills listed, which would you consider the top 3?
