Resource Planning Manager

Description:

The resource planning manager is responsible for all aspects of long-term power supply, including portfolio analysis and resource procurement, and is also responsible for load research and forecasting.

Operational:

Apply critical thinking to job tasks.

Direct long-term power supply strategy and development of sustainable member portfolios, including development of long-term resource plans, strategic plans, and member/community programs.

Competitive sourcing and procurement of long-term power supply options.

Negotiate long-term power supply contracts.

Analytical:

Long-term load forecasting (energy and peak).

Evaluate programs, demand-side management.

Assist with preparing various compliance reports and materials related to power supply, transmission, and renewable energy credits for the agency.

Research and assess market conditions and trends to identify and evaluate long-term business options, opportunities, and competitive threats.
