Billing Specialist

Description We are seeking a Billing Specialist for a fully remote position, who will primarily be responsible for managing customer credit applications and maintaining customer credit records in our telecom provider firm. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Accurate and timely preparation and processing of invoices Managing the revenue recognition process and establishing appropriate accounting controls Providing high-level customer support and resolving credit inquiries Closely working with internal and external customers to manage invoicing related issues Utilizing analytical problem-solving skills to identify and rectify issues related to billing Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments Demonstrating proficiency in skills such as Invoice Management, Billing, Customer Support, and Revenue Recognition.Requirements Proficiency in handling invoice and billing tasks Capability to answer and resolve queries related to billing Experience in customer support roles dealing with external customers Knowledge of revenue recognition procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in using billing software and other relevant computer applications High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address billing issues effectively Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and company information.
