Description We are in the market for a Maintenance Mechanic who will be joining our team in Zeeland, Michigan. This role involves managing the maintenance for our manufacturing facility, which includes the upkeep of the building and the machines. The Maintenance Mechanic will be the sole individual responsible for maintenance in the company and will report directly to the Engineering Director.Responsibilities: Oversee the upkeep and repair of the company's machinery to ensure optimal functionality. Conduct routine inspections of the facilities to identify potential maintenance issues. Handle all maintenance requests and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner. Utilize the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for managing maintenance schedules and tracking equipment history. Maintain open communication with the Engineering Director and other team members regarding maintenance operations. Develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency of maintenance processes. Use problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Manage the upkeep of the physical building to ensure a safe and clean working environment. Work autonomously to complete tasks and projects. Utilize maintenance management software to track and report on maintenance activities.Requirements Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a relevant role Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, and Buying Processes is required Excellent communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and management Experience in Autonomous Maintenance, Corporate Maintenance, and Equipment Maintenance is a must Familiarity with maintenance management practices and ability to handle maintenance requests efficiently Should have knowledge of Maintenance Scheduler and Maintenance software utilization Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and take initiative in the maintenance process Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the specified location High school diploma or equivalent education is required; vocational or technical training in a related field will be a plus Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
