Auto-Pro Glass & Tire, a full-service glass, tire, and automotive repair facility, seeks Tire & Lube Technicians to join their team in Houghton, Michigan. Previous experience preferred, but not required. We will train someone who is motivated to learn. This is a full-time Monday-Friday position—no weekends!
WHAT WE OFFER.
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour starting pay based on experience.
Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule; no weekends.

Ample training allowing you to move up in the company. Many of our Tire Techs have been promoted to Supervisors, Mechanics, Sales, Auto Glass Technicians and more.
WHAT YOU WILL DO.
Lift vehicles using hydraulic jacks.
Handle wheel removal and reinstallation.
Balance wheels and ensure proper inflation.
Identify and repair tire punctures.
Assist with mechanical duties such as oil changes, battery replacements and lubing vehicles.
Keep the shop clean and organized for a smooth operation.
Lubricate vehicle parts as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
A trustworthy, reliable team player dedicated to delivering top-notch service.
While previous experience in tire maintenance is preferred, we're open to training those who share our passion for vehicles.
Mechanics experience is a plus.
Comfortable using shop computers for diagnostics.
Excellent communication skills and a good eye for detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
A valid driver’s license is a must.
