Description CALLING ALL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVESWe are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative in Troy, Michigan. As part of our clients growing team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service to patients, doctors, and providers, handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, and updating and verifying information on prescriptions.Schedule: We are looking for individuals who are open to work full-time, 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8:00am-8:00pm. There is a high demand for individuals who are available for the 12:00pm-8:00pm shift. Weekend availability may be needed based on business needs. A premium rate will be offered for weekend coverage.Responsibilities: Answer a high volume of inbound and outbound calls from patients, doctors, and providers. Assist with inquiries and updates regarding prescriptions such as status updates, product changes, and patient information updates. Verify the information on prescriptions and update the records accordingly. Work closely with others in a team-oriented environment. Use CRM, Microsoft Office Suites, and prescription software proficiently to document and track customer interactions. Handle customer concerns effectively and professionally. Provide accurate information and exceptional customer service.Requirements Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-focused role, including Customer Service Rep/Call Center, retail, or waitstaff. Prior pharmacy or healthcare experience is highly preferred, but not required. Proficient in using systems to manage and track customer interactions. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suites for daily tasks and communication. Experience in handling customer concerns, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives to ensure resolution. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a polite and professional manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both medical professionals and patients. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare compliance regulations. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
