Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in TROY, Michigan. In this role, you will be expected to provide top-notch service to our customers, answering inquiries, handling complaints, and troubleshooting problems professionally. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and requires skills in Call Center Customer Service, Microsoft Outlook, and Health Care.Responsibilities include: Responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a detail oriented and timely manner. Providing information regarding pre-authorization for medical treatment, claim status, benefit information, provider information, etc. Utilizing systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting. Keeping up-to-date with changes in our plans. Documenting and tracking all customer interactions via our computer system. Working collaboratively within a team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution of issues. Familiarizing yourself with medical terminology, CPT codes, HCPCS, and Diagnosis Codes. Advising members of outstanding co-payments and providing them with the details of network providers. Learning and developing continually to process and disseminate vast amounts of information effectively. Greeting customers in a friendly, detail oriented manner using the suggested script. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role Proficiency in Call Center Customer Service is mandatory Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Outlook is required Must have knowledge or experience in the Health Care sector Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively Proficient problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints Must have a strong attention to detail and organizational skills High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in a related field is a plus.
