Join us at Martha's Leelanau Table, where European-inspired cuisine meets warm hospitality in the heart of Suttons Bay. Currently open five nights a week, we're eagerly preparing to extend our service to seven nights, and we're looking for passionate individuals to join our team.
As a member of our team, you'll:
- Extend a warm welcome to our guests upon arrival and bid them farewell with gratitude as they depart.
- Efficiently assign tables to servers as guests are seated, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Manage our computerized reservations system with precision and attention to detail.
- Field incoming calls and check voicemail regularly throughout the day to assist guests with inquiries and reservations.
- Provide support to our Front of House staff, stepping in wherever needed to ensure exceptional service.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Feel at ease navigating computer systems and possess the willingness to learn our reservation software (we use Tock).
- Radiate a welcoming and friendly demeanor, creating a comfortable atmosphere for our guests.
- Communicate effectively with both guests and colleagues, fostering a positive dining experience for all.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at juggling multiple tasks and adapting to changing circumstances.
We offer competitive compensation at $20 per hour, with shifts starting at 4 PM and concluding once the last guests are seated and our Front of House team no longer requires assistance.
