Scratch Cafe in downtown Petoskey is Hiring for a late Evening Prep Cook.
Hours: 3-5 days per week - 8PM-2AM - May-Labor Day
Responsibilities include:
Slicing Meats and Cheeses on commercial meat slicer
Cleaning, roasting, slicing, shredding potatoes for Hashbrowns and Potato Wedges
Seasoning and patting out breakfast sausage and beef sliders
Fabricating chicken
Preparing Bolognese sauce
Preparing filling for daily fritattas
Cutting fruit and vegetables as needed
Making and portioning ketchup and mustard
Participating in daily break-down and clean up of areas used in the kitchen
Ideal candidate has excellent knife skills, impeccable cleaning and sanitation habits, is dedicated, punctual, reliable, independent, trustworthy, able to follow specific instructions and is able to work in a fast, efficient manner without constant direction.
Beginning wage is based off of experience. End-of-season bonus will be given if candidates complete employment through Labor Day.
