Fleet Mechanic
We are looking for a mechanic who can work 2nd (2pm start time) or 3rd shift (8pm start time) and that likes variety, adapting, and fixing problems. We self-service a full range of equipment from 2-cycle engines to Class A trucks, loaders, and trailers. No two days are the same! In this important role, you’ll be the expert our team members go to for help with their diesel equipment, as your hard work and expertise directly allows our company to be successful. While valuing your area of expertise, we are open to training and encourage collaboration with your fellow mechanics to make sure we are doing our very best work possible.
Team Member Benefits
Pay: $22 - $32 per hour, depending on experience
$1,000 Bonus paid after successful completion of first 1,000 hours worked!

Requirements
Troubleshoot, recommend, repairs to front end suspension, change tires, brakes, and perform preventative maintenance and DOT's within skill set and company capabilities.
Complete preventative maintenance, diesel and inspect equipment for repair needs.
Support operations through repairs in the field, communication, and education of operators when possible.
During the winter, participate in rotating shift schedule to support overnight snow operations.
Keep track of repairs, time, and parts on our mobile app.
Take ownership of organization of stock-parts, tools, and shop areas.
Self-starter, able to prioritize, solve problems & operate without direct supervision.
A Chauffer’s Driver's License and clean driving record. DJ’s will assist with obtaining chauffer designation if needed.
Smart Phone to use Company app. to track repair information
Physical requirements: Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach.
Ability to push/pull.
Ability to lift/carry 50lbs.
Ability to grasp tools.
Able to do work involving repetitive motion.
Able to work outdoors and in noisy environments.
