Job SummaryUnder general supervision, sorts, washes and distributes all incoming soiled linen by classification to facilitate the washing process.Essential Functions
Picks up soiled linen.
Sorts, washes, dries, folds and delivers all personal clothing and flat linen.
Brings in all clean linen carts from truck and places in basement.
Delivers all personal clothing to correct rooms.
Delivers all clean linen to clean linen closets.
Picks up all new personal items of residents, labels and then returns to the appropriate resident.
Adds or deletes next days laundry delivery as needed.
Cleans all clean linen rooms. Dust, mops, wet mops floors, dusts vents and wipes shelves weekly.
May be required to drive laundry truck between facilities.
