Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead our service department. The ideal candidate will take ownership of customer satisfaction, team performance, and the overall efficiency of our service operations.
Management Duties:
Supervise and mentor a team of service technicians; provide field support as needed.
Manage daily schedules, dispatch, and resource planning for efficient field operations.
Conduct quality control checks and customer follow-ups to ensure service satisfaction.
Implement and enforce safety procedures, code compliance, and company policies.
Train new technicians and ensure continuing education and skills development.
Coordinate with vendors for parts, materials, and equipment procurement.
Provide input on hiring, discipline, and performance evaluations of technicians.
Track service department KPIs and prepare basic performance reports.
Qualifications:
5+ years service experience with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience with field service management software (e.g., Service Titan) a plus
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with residential and light commercial HVAC applications a plus!
Experience managing or growing a small service team.
