A Divorce and Family Law Firm is looking for a Associate Attorney with litigation experience or family law, and/or a recent law school grad who has passed the Michigan Bar. Draft legal memorandum, pleadings, motions and correspondence to clients and counsel. Draft discover, including interrogatories, Request for Production of Documents and Request for Admissions.
Conduct witness interviews, Trial preparation, including drafting of direct and cross examinations and witness preparation, prepare trial notebooks, court appearances for motions, hearings and trials, and attend ADR and mediation, Assist Principal Attorney with additional tasks on client matters as necessary. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills
