You’ll analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability or other financial activities within the organization.About the Role
Review financial statements for completeness, accuracy and compliance for more complex areas/businesses
Reconcile accounts, post journal entries and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position for more complex areas/businesses
Collect, compile, verify and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements so senior leadership has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions for more complex areas/businesses
Prepare reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, depreciation statements, cash flow, debtor and creditor lists, repayment schedules, regulatory reports and filings and other documents, that project the organization's financial position for more complex areas/businesses
Initial focus on lease accounting which includes coordination with accounts payable team, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, variance analysis. Opportunity to take on more areas as they develop on the team.
About You
2 years of related experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
