Job Description:The Vehicle Interior Air Quality (VIAQ) Test Engineer is a member of the Sustainability and Eco-Design (SEED) team.Key responsibilities:

Responsible for vehicle, component and material-level VOCs (volatile organic compounds) analysis, ensuring compliance with Vehicle Interior Air Quality (VIAQ) global requirements.

Air samples analysis by Thermal Desorption/Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry Analysis (TD/GC/MS) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) instrumentation!

Full vehicle air sampling activity support

Facilitate root cause analysis and solution validations for nonconforming specification conditions identified!

Conduct research and developments on testing methodologies improvements

Actively engage with the global VIAQ team meetings

Required Skills:

We are looking Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or other relevant field

Experience with chemistry analysis techniques, including GC/MS and HPLC instrumentation.

Experience with basic lab instrumentation maintenance, specifically on GC/MS and HPLC

Ability to write technical reports.

We are looking experience with Industry standards (ASTM, ISO, SAE)

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
