T his company is looking for a 2nd shift Quality Technician with the following roles and responsibilities listed below:SUMMARYTo inspect the quality of products that weremanufactured in house or from vendors.Inspectors will use various measuring equipment and review the resultsagainst detailed blueprints.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Inspectors need to read and interpret blue prints
Read measuring tools
Complete forms and file results in job file
Complete the DMR process if parts are non-conforming
Check concentricity, runout, and have the ability to check tenths in accordance with prints
CMM experience helpful
The most important things are Blueprint familiarity and using micrometers, calipers, gages, and indicators. Any CMM knowledge is also a plus, but lower on the list. We do not use PPAP.
