Moreover, they are just as invested in the people that make our digital experience come to life as the data that they’re analyzing. The senior data scientist on the digital experience team should feel a sense of ownership in our website and apps, ingrained in all facets of Ecomm and people that impact it.  RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Digital Experience A|B and Multi-Variate TestingCreate a vision of new KPIs, cuts, and ways to automate our tools for stronger impact, including integrating new tools as they become available (LTV, etc)Leverage GenAI on top of our extensive knowledge database to make relevant prompts immediately accessibleProvide optimal, statistical test designs for measuring and reporting the effectiveness of various tests.Provide data driven feedback on test elements such as creative, offers, and audience optimization.Analyze results with the goal of proving (or disproving) each test experience as the root cause of change to key metrics.Present your findings and recommendations in a succinct and persuasive manner to business partners and senior leadership.Shape and guide strategic business objectives with disciplined analytic approach. Data-Driven PartnershipsCollaborate with Digital Experience partners to prioritize and identify initiatives that will help address business concerns.Proactively monitor and report on key ecommerce health metrics to IT, Innovation, and Marketing partners.Develop strong partnerships with internal departments, such as the Ecommerce IT and Digital Experience teams, providing strategic direction that supports long-term goals and needs for the organization.Identify, develop, and present recommendations for further growth within the business. Digital Analytics Expertise Guide, and mentor junior and mid-level Data Scientists to create a best-in-class Data Science organization. Push forward model base solutions on the ecommerce experience by partnering with our Personalization data science team.Regularly present background and findings to Marketing Leadership Team on digital experience topics.Collaborate with the Primary Research A&I team, connecting their ecommerce insights with empirical data.Provide insight to A&I, Marketing, Innovation, teams with custom views into customer behavior on ordering platforms.Partner with and manage external vendors when needed to address key business issues.
