They also will provide support to the Stacks Services Unit and Assistant Director for Scholarly Publishing & Information Services. They are a member of the Shared Tasks Group that delivers materials to faculty offices, checks library printers, and verifies student IDs. Works in ILL & Scanning unit
Handles all aspects both borrowing and lending activities, creating, updating, and completes requests in the online ILLiad system
Updates the ILLiad patron database
Scans and processes material to be delivered electronically for various library services and and units
Assists with library print-from-web-to-bind functions and shipping
Serves on the Shared Tasks Group and supports other law library units
Recalls, pages, and searches for Library material
Works on various reclass projects
Checks and assists patrons with Library equipment
Assists the Assistant Director for Scholarly Publishing & Information Services troubleshoots and resolves technology-related issues in the library (i.e. scanners, copiers, and other computer systems and applications)
During the summer semester, covers shifts in the document delivery service, including paging for materials held at other campus libraries
Communicates and maintains good relations with Library patrons
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
One year of library or relevant work experience
Demonstrated attention to detail
Must be able to routinely position self to move and transport books weighing up to five pounds
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Some experience and comfort working with library technology
Some experience with Interlibrary Loan and/or Scanning
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google G Suite, and Adobe
