All responsibilities are carried out in partnership with the University of Michigan Medical?s School?s central faculty affairs office.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or other relevant field of study

Prior experience managing faculty affairs in an academic setting

Kind, thoughtful, and professional written and verbal communication and conduct are central to the success of this role.

This role is primarily remote but will require periodic in person work in the Radiation Oncology Department at Michigan Medicine's University Hospital. Candidates are required to live within a reasonable driving distance of Ann Arbor to facilitate in person days.

This role will require the ability to manage time and competing priorities without supervision.

This role will require excellent computer skills including prior experience managing schedules, email, data management systems, and competence using Google and Microsoft Office applications

This role will require the ability to operate with discretion while managing sensitive information

Desired Qualifications

At least four years of faculty affairs experience in a University setting

Background ScreeningMichigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
