Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the detail oriented Services industry, located in Worcester, Massachusetts. The role entails processing customer applications, managing customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. The position also requires monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.Responsibilities: Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications Maintaining precise customer credit records Executing data entry tasks diligently Handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Conducting account reconciliation on a regular basis Taking charge of billing processes Handling specific projects as assigned Processing invoices as per established procedures Ensuring bank deposits are made in a timely manner. Requirements Proficiency in account reconciliation is necessary Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) is required Familiarity with billing procedures and practices Must possess strong data entry skills Experience in Invoice processing is required Ability to work effectively in a detail oriented services environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Previous experience in a similar role within the detail oriented services industry is desirable Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.
