One of my client companies is seeking a Customer Service Professional/Route Sales Representative for their team. A great working environment along with professional growth. Route Representative:
A Customer Service Professional will provide route service to a set customer base, through the pick-up and delivery of items from our Facility Services product line. Duties involve safely driving a company owned service van to and from numerous customer stops throughout the course of the day, as well as lifting, carrying and walking clean products into and soiled products out of customer accounts. Customer Service Professionals are also responsible for ensuring extreme customer satisfaction, by responding to customer inquiries and requests, as well as pro-active problem solving. Responsibilities also include growing the existing route, through sales of additional items from our product line to current customers. Specific routes and customers are assigned, in order to build rapport between the Customer Service Professional and the customers serviced.
Customer Service Professionals with the company report directly to and meet daily with the Manager of the operation to review daily activities, with continual focus on delivery routes and excellent customer service as you service 20 to 30 customers per day, businesses that range from small mom-and-pop shops to major corporate locations.
Additional responsibilities of the Customer Service Professional include, but are not limited to the following:
Meeting with decision makers at each location to establish and maintain strong working relationships
Assessing each customer locations’ needs for opportunities to upsell
Ensuring Customer Satisfaction Surveys are completed on a weekly basis
Balancing cash and invoices at the end of each day
Unloading your truck at the end of each day and loading for next service day
Sorting product inventory according to company procedure (as needed)
Keeping the service van clean, next, and orderly on the inside (and outside)
Ensuring service van is replenished with gas, via company credit card provided (business purposes only)
Ensure fluids (oil level, brake fluid, anti-freeze, windshield washer, etc.) are maintained at appropriate levels
Ensure proper air levels are in all 4 tires
Report any issues with service van to the Manager of the company
Meeting with the Manager at the end of each day to go over priorities
Turning in new business leads by the end of the each week
Assisting with other projects or tasks as assigned
