Field Operations Manager

World Energy Services is seeking a Field Operations Manager to support our project execution across New England — combining field service excellence with operational oversight.

Position Summary:

Based out of our Millbury, MA facility with regular travel to our Worcester, MA headquarters and customer sites across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire, this full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on fieldwork and can also manage operational responsibilities like materials procurement, equipment logistics, and basic inventory coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Procure tools, materials, and equipment required for various job tasks

Support Project Managers with field installations and service work, including:

Installing foam pipe insulation, faucet aerators, door sweeps, shower heads, smart power strips, and pre-rinse spray valves

Conducting air leak studies and documenting findings for the sustainability team

Installing and marking EV charging stations, including ADA-compliant signage and painted parking stalls

Using tablets (e.g., Keilton app) to commission LED lighting sensors and optimize system performance

Handling basic on-site cleanup, including proper disposal of installation debris

Transport tools and materials to and from job sites

Coordinate closely with engineering and project teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution

Maintain fleet vehicle schedules, ensuring timely service and inspections

Oversee general warehouse activities, including inventory management, receiving, shipping, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in field service, facilities, energy efficiency projects, or related hands-on role

Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools, installation work, and field-based problem solving

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and willingness to travel throughout MA, CT, and NH

Experience using tablets, apps, and basic digital tools for documentation and reporting

Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs of materials and equipment

Solid communication and organizational skills

Some experience with warehouse operations (e.g., inventory, receiving/shipping) is a plus but not required

Familiarity with energy efficiency, HVAC, or sustainability-related work is a plus

High school diploma or equivalent required

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $55,000/year

Bonus: 10% performance bonus
