In addition to your TPM responsibilities, this role requires direct involvement in preparing, reviewing, and overseeing activities like developing specifications, concept development, engineering and design input, design reviews, and build/test feedback. You'll also take on team leadership, manage project scheduling, scope, and budget, and contribute your technical expertise to business development, proposal writing, and grant submissions.  This role is restricted to US persons (i.e., US citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 USC 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. Boston Engineering will require proof of status prior to employment. To excel in this role, you should have proven expertise in the following areas: Knowledge of the design and architecture of robotics, uncrewed systems, maritime systems, and related fields. Experience in defining and managing scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables for multi-disciplinary projects. Proficiency in interfacing with government-based clients. Ability to efficiently manage multiple project teams in a fast-paced environment. Experience in leading projects through a Phase-Gate or similar structured development process. Strong capability to conduct and oversee critical project reviews, identify risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies, including presenting and interacting with customers. A track record of identifying opportunities and successfully writing proposals for both customers and government grants, with ongoing interest in this area. To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills: Systems-level engineering experience across multiple disciplines. Proficiency with common project management and engineering development tools. Proven ability to thrive in a technically challenging and customer-focused environment. Exceptional management and organizational skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
