Help Desk Analyst I

Description We are in search of a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team located in Waltham, Massachusetts. The role involves assisting with IT help desk tasks and administrative duties in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT help desk Utilize ServiceNow for managing computer inventory and consolidating inventory data from other sources Assist in hardware troubleshooting or replacing tasks Image computers using both automated systems and manual settings Manage the decommissioning of computers and organize them according to predefined sections Utilize Active Directory and Deployment skills for computer imaging and asset inventory tasks Perform data entry tasks with high attention to detail. Requirements Possesses a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Proficient in Active Directory Experienced in deploying software and updates Skilled in computer imaging techniques Capable of maintaining asset inventory Proficient in data entry tasks Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Possesses strong written and verbal communication abilities Has knowledge of IT support procedures and services Familiar with ITIL framework and service management Holds a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
