The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality financial information is created and used to drive decisions and operations.This position requires Corporate Accounting, Technical Accounting, Reporting, and Organizational skills.This position will be expected to provide support to our dynamic and collaborative Finance Department through the processing of inventory and supporting the team in transacting various day-to-day general ledger entries, assisting in the month-end closing process, and providing financial analysis. This exciting role offers exposure to many areas of general ledger accounting and reporting, providing the right individual an excellent opportunity to grow with our Company.This position will report to the Associate Director, Assistant Controller, and work on-site at our Waltham, MA office. Deciphera expects a minimum number of three days a week on site, with flexibility as to hours on site on any given day to accommodate work/life balance. Specific days and times spent in the office should be determined in conjunction with your manager.What You’ll Do:Responsible for preparing & reviewing various month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes – including account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and various analyses, including quarterly flux analysesResponsible for global inventory accounting for a multiproduct, multinational company, including associated analyses (e.g., E&O analyses, tracking pre-approval inventory through its lifecycle, etc.)Resonsible for lease accountingLead J-SOX efforts and coordination across various stakeholders at Deciphera and our parent company and auditorsLead External Reporting of our actual results for inclusion in our parent company’s financial statements, or in response to government survey requests, on a monthly, quarterly, yearly or as needed basisPrepare technical accounting memorandums for complex, non-routine transactions on an as needed basisPartner closely with the FP&A team to ensure accruals are complete and accurateInterface with cross function teams across the organization (e.g., Commercial Supply Chain, I&T and Facilities, etc.), as needed, to gather information on contracts to determine the appropriate accounting treatmentPrepare audit/review schedules and interact with auditors for semi-annual reviews and the annual auditAd-Hoc accounting and finance projects as required
