Responsibilities for Inside Sales Assistant:
Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
Assist on marketing-related tasks.
Set up new accounts by answering telephone and email inquiries and verifying and entering information.
Fill orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery dates, and explaining stock-outs.
Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
Engage in Prospecting and Lead Generation to set up meetings for Sales Managers.
Update customers on the status of their orders and provide estimated ship dates as requested by customers.
Fulfill other functions as directed by the Sales Manager.
Qualifications for Inside Sales Assistant:
Experience in sales is preferred.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be attentive to customers’ needs and determined to provide customer satisfaction.
Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, be flexible, and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of sales standards and customer service routines.
Basic computer skills including spreadsheets, data programs, and PowerPoint.
Work well with others and be a team player.
Ability to manage schedules and inventory.
