We are searching for an experienced Bilingual (Spanish/English) line lead for the food line. Looking for an individual that displays high levels of initiative and ethic. Line Leaders are required to maintain a smooth balance of line production and product quality. While line downtime is unavoidable, a Line Leader must minimize this by working closely with the Mechanics and Filling Room Facilitators. Below is a description of the required tasks of a Line Leader.
Must have Food Production Experience and know GMPs
7:30am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday
Line Workers must be monitored to ensure that they are displaying Good Manufacturing Practices, including dress code.
Component levels must be monitored and reported to Filling Room Facilitator when replenishment is needed.
Product tank level and tank change over must be monitored and reported to Mechanic when replenishment is needed.
Basic machine functions of all filling equipment must be retained.
Unacceptable carts must be kept in a clean and orderly fashion.
The quality of the product must be monitored constantly. Any deviation must be reported to Quality Assurance and corrected.
Filling lines must be kept in a clean and orderly fashion at all times.
Filling room schedule must be followed unless a change is noted by management.
Job folders must be followed for case quantity and correct component usage.
Fair and equal delegation must be performed to Line Workers during downtime.
Product fill levels and label height must be check regularly to ensure there is no deviation during product runs.
Assisting the Line Workers when needed to ensure line productivity.
Completing pre-run checklist and waiting for Quality Control approval before starting production.
Working with mechanics when there is a machinery malfunction.
Supervising all Line Workers to ensure all guidelines set by the customer are being maintained.
Supervising all Line Workers at the end of the day to ensure that production area is clean,
