OFFICE ASSISTANT NEEDED: We are a high end Interior Design firm looking for a pretty awesome individual to assist in daily operations, organization, and light bookkeeping. Must have a reliable set of wheels.
We want someone who possesses the following (some obvious, some not so much) traits:
Organized, efficient, and experienced in customer and vendor interaction
Computer proficiency in: Word/Pages, Excel/Numbers, PowerPoint/Keynote
Props if you know: InDesign, Photoshop, Design Manager
Equally left & right brained, but we'll take 60/40
Responsibilities:
Answer phone, retrieve mail, maintain office cleanliness, maybe get lunch
Run local (Greater Boston area included!) errands
Maintain design forms, labels & presentation materials (left/right brain unite!)
Generate and implement Proposals, Purchase Orders, Invoices in Design Manager
Order & delivery scheduling & follow up
General bookkeeping responsibilities, work closely with remote Bookkeeper
Ability to plan & estimate project budgets
Ability to order & track project samples
Maintain office library
Ability to communicate, coordinate schedules, and work with all trades, vendors, etc & maintain positive relationships
Maintain professional client communication to ensure positive feedback and establish client expectations
This is a part time position with flexible hours.
