As a Senior Asset Manager (Executive Level), you will support attorneys nationwide with litigation in creditor rights cases. You will be responsible for reviewing a book of assets, developing and implementing asset value maximization plans in a cost-effective manner, and reporting gains and losses to investors. You will also support with due diligence for new asset acquisitions. Knowledge with real estate valuation, notes, mortgages and other financial instruments are a must. You will be managing in-house and outside personnel, therefore extensive management experience is a must.
Job duties include, but are not limited to phone, email, reporting to executive management, skip tracing, organizing documents for attorneys, getting attorney updates, maintaining case files, court appearances as a corporate representative, negotiating settlements, signing affidavits and legal documents…etc.
The ideal candidate will have experience with skip tracing, searching court case dockets, PACER, the Tax Assessor’s office, the Registry of Deeds and other related online resources.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of working experience in law, investment management, consulting, banking or related industry with proven success. Must be proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and MS Word.
An MBA or JD is helpful but not required. Applicants with investment management experience are also highly encouraged to apply.
