Construction Yard Manager
Prime Coatings is an established industrial painting contractor based out of Salisbury, Ma. We specialize in sandblasting and painting bridges all over Massachusetts. We are looking to hire a yard manager to support the various equipment and material needs of multiple active jobsites. The position is fast-paced, and the responsibilities tend to vary daily, depending on what the field operations require to continue producing. Some of the tasks you will be expected to perform are as follows:
- Reviewing field crew alignments to determine equipment/material needs for the following week.
- Keeping up with yard inventory and placing orders with the office as necessary.
- Loading and unloading of trucks and trailers.
- Transporting trucks and trailers to and from site.
- Keeping the yard clean, neat, and organized.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- You must have experience managing a small crew.
- You must be hardworking and dependable.
- You must be able to think critically and safely about the task at hand.
- You must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- You must have a valid driver’s license and experience driving trucks and trailers.
