FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES will be opening our first US restaurant Sakabayashi Sushi Tavern in Back Bay Boston very soon.
We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager for our first location, with the possibility of moving up to Store Manager depending on their performance.
Our restaurant theme is a Sushi Izakaya. We have multiple locations in Japan and looking to expand in Boston and the other parts of the US. We are looking to expand our team and would like to hire someone that would like to grow with our company.
Role Description
-Oversee all aspects of daily operations of the restaurant including the kitchen.
-Build and maintain guest relationships, curate VIP experiences and manage ongoing correspondence through email and review platforms.
-Train coach and develop a team of high performing staff by demonstrating core values
-Maintain an A letter grade from the Department of Health
-Assist with staff scheduling
- Assist with Tip Reporting
-Assist with training and development of current staff and newly hired staff to ensure that all team members are educated on Sakabayashi product, service and hygiene protocol.
-Build morale and team loyalty by maintaining a work environment where team members are valued.
-Our restaurant concept requires our managers to learn kitchen operation so that they can oversee all aspects of operations.
Requirements
-Heavy lifting up to 50lbs
-Standing for long duration
-Team leadership
-1-2 year in supervisory or Assistant Manager Role
-Able to boost team morale and leading a team to success providing a positive work environment
