We’re a relatively new bakery in the Boston area that is seeking to improve their artisanal bread program and would like to work with someone with extensive experience with bread recipe development and production.
-Position would be contract/consulting-based and there may be a potential for a permanent long term position but this is not guaranteed
-Evaluate current processes/products
-Develop new recipes and processes
-Document new recipes and processes
-Train team members on all processes and iterate recipes, processes and training documents
Please have experience with:
-Pre-ferments including sourdough
-Various types of ovens and equipments
-Managing and training teams with limited baking experience
-Iterating and adjusting recipe specs for environment, equipment, etc.
