Job Title: Restaurant Floor Manager

Salary: $60,000 per year

Location: Banyan Bar + Refuge - South End, Boston

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

Banyan Bar + Refuge is seeking an energetic manager to assist in daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience as we head into our eleventh patio season ! The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a passion for hospitality. As a manager, you will supervise front-of-house staff, maintain service standards, and work closely with the General Manager to drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and a high level of customer satisfaction.

- Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain exceptional hospitality and service standards.

- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

- Monitor reservations, table assignments, and seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency.

- Assist General Manager in performance management of front-of-house staff.

- Maintain a strong presence on the floor, supporting team members as needed.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation and alcohol service laws.

- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless communication and service.

- Uphold company policies and procedures while fostering a positive and team-oriented work environment.

Requirements:

- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage a dynamic team.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed.

- Understanding of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing an outstanding dining experience.
