Full-Time Server - Banyan Bar + Refuge (South End, Boston)
Banyan Bar + Refuge, a vibrant restaurant and bar located in Boston's South End, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable full-time Server to join our team. We offer a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to provide exceptional hospitality to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and attentive service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and process them efficiently.
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge of our menu, including beer, wine, and spirits, and be able to make recommendations.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area.
- Collaborate effectively with all team members to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues professionally.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as Massachusetts state regulations regarding the service of alcohol.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a server role is required.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25lbs pounds.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Massachusetts.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
