DALI Restaurant and Tapas Bar introduced Spanish Tapas to Boston 35 years ago in 1989 and currently requires an EXPERIENCED, Full-Time, DAY PREP COOK from 8am-4pm on Wednesday-Sunday (closed Mon-Tues).
o bilingual in English and Spanish is a must.
o can follow recipes closely w/attention to details.
o has good knife skills and knows basic cooking techniques.
o ServSafe certificate preferred but not essential.
o $24 after training @ $20/hr and early review after a few weeks depends how quickly you learn.
o has good hygiene and sanitary habits and a respectful attitude towards co-workers.
o interest in Spanish cuisine and culture helpful but not essential.
o PRIOR to being hired, can "shadow/stage" for half a day to make sure we're a good fit.
o can provide two most recent restaurant work references.
o leadership qualities are a financial PLUS (like calling in orders and receiving product deliveries) and can be discussed in the near future.
o can start training immediately or ASAP.
